Eating healthy is equivalent to finding a balance, because, as it is said, "healthy mind in healthy body". Our body is a reflection of what's inside of our thoughts. Caring is loving us.
Bringing a balanced diet does not mean bland foods or extreme sacrifice, you just have to eat everything in moderation.
We can produce infinite combinations of succulent salads, it is extremely easy, all you have to consider is the following:
1) A base (may be lettuce or spinach)
2) Two or three vegetables (which can be raw or fried).
3) A fruit (to provide a little of sweetness and texture).
4) A sausage or cold meat or some cheese (for protein), nuts (pinion, peanut, sesame, pistachio nuts from India, etc..)
5) And a hint of carbohydrates in the form of croutons or crisp pita bread.
In this way we include all food "dish of fine dining" at one time.
Look also to use different ingredients and bold colors to create an attractive dish.
Now you can unleash your creativity. And here is a small sample of how this formula works well:
1 / 2 pieces (pcs). Lettuce of your choice
250 gr. (1 / 2 pcs. Approx.) Diced Jicama
200 gr. (2 pcs. Med. Approx.) Grated carrot
150 gr. (1 pcs.) Cucumber diced
200 gr. (1 pcs.) Mango cubes or Blackberries
200 gr. Panela Cheese Bouillon
200 gr. Smoked Turkey Breast
100 gr. Chili peanuts
Pita Crisp
Dressing:
100 ml. Orange Juice
20 ml. Olive Oil
10 ml. Soy Sauce
20 ml. Water
15 gr. (1 tsp.) Honey
Mix everything vigorously.
I hope you enjoy! Bon appetit!
