Learn to plan your diabetic diet and avoid hypoglycemia, controlling inflammation and improving your quality of life
Diabetic diet planning is a must for any person with such health condition. If you have the disease and are looking forward for a better quality of life, I'll share with you the secrets from a doctor friend of mine who has diabetes and usually teaches his patients about: "The privileges of having diabetes". A tip before we continue: Most of this tips have to do with diabetic diet planning. Privileges you might ask yourself?? What privileges can come from having diabetes? I'll tell you about in a short time but... First, if you have diabetes, you already know your body is not able to produce or use insulin in a proper way, which leads to high levels of glucose, or sugar in your blood. You might be aware that eating healthy would help to reduce your blood sugar, which will give you a hand in controlling the disease, preventing possible complications from it. There you see is the First privilege of having diabetes: You realize that a good quality nutrition is of key importance for your quality of life! And it is a privilege, because not many healthy people have given it a thought. Second privilege of having diabetes: Since you have to make a diabetic diet planning, you will learn to choose wisely the foods for your meals and the amounts of them. And not so many people know how to do that! Third privilege of having diabetes: You know you have to make wise choices, but you can be flexible and adapt your meals to your needs and lifestyle, and more often there are special foods available for people just like you!! How exclusive!!!! (that sounds to me that you have some VIP treatment! ;) The fourth privilege of having diabetes: By making the right changes to your lifestyle, you will have great diamonds for your health that will help you to reach a better quality of life, this are such as: + Limiting sweets (which promote inflammation and release of a huge amount of free radicals that produce oxidation, resulting in an aging process of the cells, a thing that also happens when we abuse fats and toxic substances for example). + Eating often (I bet many people would like that one!) + Learning to choose the quality of carbohydrates you eat and the amount of them. (Complex carbohydrates, meaning those with high amounts of fiber, will be always better choices vs. simple carbohydrates). + Reducing the amount of fat that you consume (good for your weight and lipid profile isn't it?). + Limiting your use of alcohol (it isn't so bad really, many people can do without it, read it says: limit the amount, so you can still have some, right?). Now that you know the privileges of having diabetes, you have the right tips for a healthier lifestyle, include exercise as well in your life, and you'll be on track to controlling your disease and improving your quality of life, but don't think this secrets are for diabetics only, because they apply to all people too, so share what you learn about diabetic diet planning.
